From: The Architectural Control Committee

To:  Our Preston Hollow Neighbors

From: The Architectural Control Committee

The ACC wants to help our neighbors maintain Preston Hollow as a place for which we are all proud to call home. We are reminding everyone of a few important items that require attention so that our entire neighborhood is maintained in the best possible way.

1.  Garbage, trash or recyclables should be placed curbside on designated collections days using suitable containers.  Once emptied, containers should be then returned to the residence in a timely manner and stored out of street view and substantially shielded from the view of the neighboring property, within a reasonable time not to exceed 24 hours.

2. Make certain that your sprinkler system is properly maintained and set to the proper day and time that you are permitted to irrigate your lawn and landscape.  If you water on an unscheduled day, you leave yourself open to a County fine.

3. With the return of Spring, many owners find that it’s a perfect time to improve the appearance of their yards and set a good example. There are a number of lawns that require attention, however. Please maintain your lawn and landscaping according to our Deed Restrictions.

4. Hedges must be maintained at a height not to exceed six (6) feet.

5. Prior to removing any trees (specifically trees larger than three (3) inches in diameter), submit your written request to the ACC.  Depending on the tree type and size, a County permit may also be required. Therefore, contact the County before removing a tree.  For your own protection when hiring a tree service, make sure that the tree service you hire has the proper credentials and insurance.

6. Review the Preston Hollow Deed Restrictions regarding the parking restrictions of commercial vehicles or recreational vehicles, boats, trailers, golf carts, and motorcycles, etc.

7. Fences are not permitted in Preston Hollow, with the exception of perimeter fences.

We anticipate that all improvements will be accomplished and in compliance within thirty (30) days but no later than June 10, 2013. If you have any questions or comments, please contact any of the ACC members listed below.
Have a safe and great year.

Your ACC Committee.
