As part of Hernando County’s
2012-13 Water Awareness Series, the Hernando County Utilities
Department invites the public to the fourth session to be presented
Friday, February 8, 2013, from 10:00 AM to Noon. Everyone is welcome to
attend this important educational seminar, which will be held at the
Hernando County Utilities Department, 21030 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville,
FL 34601. Light refreshments will be provided. The topic will be:
Florida Native Plants and What’s Bugging You?
This
program will help inspire your inner FLORIDIAN to discover the
fantastic and adaptable Florida Native Plants that can provide so much
interest and fun to your current landscape. Presented by Rita Grant,
Hernando Chapter of Native Plant, Florida Master Gardener. THEN—don’t
miss What’s Bugging You? Presented by Dr. Stacy Strickland, Director,
Hernando County Extension Service. Dr. Strickland will help you identify
“the good the bad and the ugly “ bugs that may be in your landscape.
This will be a very entertaining program for you to learn all about
Integrated Pest Management (IPM). What is that? Come to the program and
find out!!
