We had half of our front lawn replaced over a month ago and just received our water bill and what a shocker. I called the Utilities Department to try to understand how they could charge so much money. Without going into all the details if you have had sod replaced or are planning to do so here is a tip. If you bring your sod bill to the Utilities Department on Spring Hill Drive they will make and adjustment to your bill.

FYI - Smoke Conditions in Hernando County
The Hernando County Fire Rescue Department has issued a Smoke Advisory for Hernando County due to the large number of wildfires throughout the state. Residents have likely noticed that Hernando County is experiencing worsening smoke conditions today. These conditions could cause limited visibility, and people with respiratory problems should stay indoors if possible to avoid respiratory distress. Hernando County currently has no active wildfires; however, Hernando County Fire Rescue is monitoring a 13-acre parcel on Mondon Hill Road which is still smoldering after a fire earlier in the week.
Due to the high wildfire risk, Hernando County Fire Rescue encourages everyone to use extreme caution in disposing of all potentially flammable materials, particularly cigarettes, and recommends no burning of debris. For more information about the wildfires and/or burning regulations,
call the Division of Forestry at 754-6777

FYI for Preston Hollow Residents
My dog Gibbs has some allergies that cause him to have some health issues. On Monday a friend of mine and I went around the whole Preston Hollow neighborhood trying to find the 23 things that he is allergic to in this area. We rode around in my truck at a very slow speed between 5:30 and 6:30 PM tonight. I hope if anyone was concerned about this will understand and I am sorry if it caused any concern.
